Overview
The Maintenance Team Member is responsible for maintaining equipment in the module plant. The incumbent also develops, coordinates, and participates in continuous improvement of equipment.
Responsibilities
To perform successfully in this role, the incumbent must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. Additional duties may be assigned.
- Perform general maintenance and operate all plant equipment.
- Support production regarding equipment issues.
- Complete daily check sheets and maintain 3R5S standards in work areas related to maintenance property and equipment.
- Identify, list, and repair damaged equipment components.
- Record process data as required by ADEM and OEM related equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance using SAP work orders, including weekend, shutdown, and holiday tasks.
- Suggest improvements for preventive maintenance processes.
- Conduct troubleshooting for equipment problems or breakdowns and perform repairs as needed.
- Log downtime events and complete trouble reports with countermeasures or improvement suggestions.
- Communicate effectively with departments regarding maintenance issues and shift change updates.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, including OSHA and Mobis, and report hazards.
- Implement continuous improvements and assist with new equipment installations in cooperation with engineering.
- Perform lighting inspections in the inspection area and complete all other assigned duties.

Qualifications
Required Education & Experience:
- High school diploma with at least 2 years of maintenance experience.
- Technical college degree preferred.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Good knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Some knowledge of robotics and Microsoft Office.
- Understanding of module functions in a JIT (Just In Time) manufacturing environment.
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Degree or experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel for documentation purposes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration in a diverse, multidisciplinary team.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to organizational success.

Working Conditions:
- Traversing the production floor, ascending/descending ladders, and lifting 40-50 lbs.
- Use of protective equipment and clothing.
- Possible international travel to headquarters and domestic travel to customers, suppliers, or other sites.
- Overtime and weekend work as necessary, subject to change.
