Job summary

CompX National in Mauldin, SC, is seeking a Press Brake Operator for the second shift. You will setup and operate the press brake, read drawings, select tooling, and configure CNC inputs to manufacture parts to specifications.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED and a strong attention to detail with safety procedures. Prior machining experience, especially with press brakes, is preferred. We offer competitive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Setup, adjust and operate press brake machine
• Read technical drawings, work orders, design specifications
• Select and install correct punches, dies and tooling configurations
• Configure inputs into computer numerical control
• Use measuring tools to check finished parts
• Clean tooling, grease moving parts and keep a clean and tidy work area
• Willingness to perform other machining jobs if necessary

Shift: Second

Pay: $21.43 - $27.25 per hour DOE

Shift Premium: $1.50

Position Responsibilities:

Essential Skills and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience operating a press brake is highly preferred
