Job Description – Team Member

Department: Operations Reports To: Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Employee Type: Part Time Workdays and Hours: Mon-Sun; Opening-Closing (Varied) Some Holidays

Job Purpose: To guide each customer through the Juice It Up! customer experience, before, during and after the purchase.

Outcomes and Responsibilities:

  1. Serve only quality products in a sparkling store!

    1. Follow JIU! standards when handling and preparing all smoothies, juices, bowls and food.
    2. Follow JIU! standards when cleaning and maintaining equipment, POS, windows, floors, shelving, counters, tables, chairs, outside areas, restrooms, and any part of the JIU! store.
    3. Ensure cups, spoons, napkins, merchandise, and snacks are stocked and available to customers at all times.
    4. Follow health and safety standards to assist others in doing the same.
  2. Say Hi & Offer Samples and Product Knowledge

    1. Welcome every customer with a sincere “Hello, welcome to Juice It Up!” and offer them samples. Answer any questions and offer product knowledge.
  3. POS and Cash Handling

    1. Master POS and order taking process to ensure correct product, always ask for customer name and deliver drink with customer name and drink name.
    2. Be able to count change and have skills at accepting cash, credit cards and gift cards for payment.
    3. Able to enter coupons and loyalty cards.
    4. Qualified to count and balance cash drawer with accuracy.

  8. Proficient in English – (bilingual in Spanish an added bonus)
  9. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  10. Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  11. Ability to bend repeatedly
  12. Ability to multi-task and maintain a fast pace

Work Environment: Semi confined space, generally cold in temperature and noisy. Extremely team oriented. Individuals work with one to two other employees.
