Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Shop in Merrillville, IN is seeking a friendly Team Member to join our fast-paced, customer-first environment. You will help deliver fast, high-quality service across multiple kitchen stations and dining areas.

Qualifications

• You are at least 16 years old.
• Friendly, customer-first mindset in fast-paced environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to stand/walk at least 3 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to work across multiple stations and handle cash.

Responsibilities

• Work multiple stations (load, dress, shakes, cash, prep, front) as directed by a Shift Leader or Manager.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Restock food line, chips and cooler.
• Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream, etc.).
• Operate cash register and balance cash handling procedures.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Take delivery/catering/pickup orders over the phone.
