Team Member/Concept Attendant - Shake Shack Atlanta Airport
Purpose/Position Summary: Support the operation to deliver superior guest service by performing duties such as completing guest transactions, assisting with food preparation and cooking, and cleaning. Adhere to company policies related to standard operating procedures and cash handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure each guest receives superior service by providing a friendly environment, including prompt recognition and greeting of guests with a smile using established service standards.
- Communicate, explain, and suggestively sell menu offerings, products, and promotions to guests.
- Verify cash drawer/bank and complete appropriate paperwork.
- Process orders and accept payments.
- Cook and store food at required temperatures; label, date, and rotate all products according to company standards.
- Perform food preparation duties in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the area, including trash removal, dishwashing, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning tables, countertops, food prep areas, display cases, and equipment; stock supplies as needed.
- Follow safe food handling and proper hygiene practices.
- Adhere to workplace safety standards for operating and maintaining equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Perform opening and/or closing side work according to established checklists.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal.
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Physical ability to stand and walk continuously, lift and carry up to 60 lbs., and perform repetitive motions including reaching, grasping, pushing, and pulling.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, and visually navigate the workspace.
