Job summary

Express Wash Concepts is hiring a Team Member at our Flint location. You will focus on delivering exceptional customer service while driving sales of our Unlimited Wash Club and monthly packages.

You’ll greet customers, upsell memberships, and educate them on benefits, aiming to exceed expectations during and after the wash. The role requires flexibility to work weekends, the ability to stand and move throughout the site, and outdoor work in all weather.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Flexibility to work weekends and varied hours.
• Stand and move throughout the site for the shift.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Lift up to 25 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Present a positive attitude and professional appearance.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear safety equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and drive monthly unlimited wash package sales.
• Educate customers on Unlimited Wash Club benefits.
• Greet customers and create strong first impressions.
• Engage with customers during and after wash to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain quality control and safety protocols.
• Handle escalations calmly and effectively.
• Operate POS and basic retail equipment.
• Promote memberships to new customers.
• Learn wash process and equipment to expand knowledge.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Where Clean Cars Begin: Your Role

As a Team member, you will focus on providing exceptional customer service and focus sales efforts by engaging potential customers and presenting monthly unlimited car wash packages and upselling products to existing customers!

Your workday will also consist of, but not be limited to:

• Educating our customers on the benefits of our Unlimited Wash Club
• Greet and exceed customer expectations through long-lasting first impressions.
• Actively engage with customers pre/post wash to ensure 100% satisfaction.
• Maintain quality assurance through accurate Quality Control checks.
• Comply with all safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Properly address all customer escalations in a calm and collected manner.
• Understand and operate basic functional retail equipment (computer, POS, etc.)
• Pitch our membership when interacting with new customers.
• Learn the wash process and equipment to expand the knowledgebase.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

What You’ll Need to Shine

• High school diploma or equivalent, or current enrollment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Stand and move throughout the site for the entire shift in a fast-paced environment.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. consistently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Positive attitude, willingness to take direction, and a professional appearance.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear the required safety equipment.
