Job summary

NSK Precision America, Inc. (NPA) seeking an assembler to prep parts for packing and assist in packing operations. Follow SOPs and use tools to assemble components to exact specifications.

Inspect parts for quality, maintain a clean workspace, and report issues. A strong team player with reliable attendance is essential in our lean manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred.
• Comfortable using common hand tools and measurement equipment.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow detailed work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Get parts ready to pack in grease and bag area and assist with packing when needed.

• This position will be responsible for getting parts ready to pack in our grease and bag area and also helping out in packing when needed.
• Assemble components according to specifications following our standard operation procedure
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to perform precise assembly work
• Inspect finished parts and for accuracy, quality, and completeness

Looking for:

• Experience: Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred with forklift experience.
• Technical Skills: Comfortable using common hand tools, torque wrenches, and measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers).
• Attention to Detail: Able to follow detailed work instructions and ensure accuracy in assembly.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Basic understanding of how mechanical systems fit and function.
• Team Player: Works well with others and communicates effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Reliability: Consistent attendance and strong work ethic.
