Job summary

Thanksgiving Point Institute is seeking a Tower Deli Team Member and Grill Cook to join our casual, fast-paced dining team at Thanksgiving Point. You will split time between cashier duties and grill preparation, delivering friendly service and helping prepare quality sandwiches, burgers, wraps, salads, and more.

This part-time role offers daytime shifts roughly 10:30am–3:30pm, requires at least 3 shifts per week with weekend or holiday availability, and pays $12–$14 per hour plus tips.

Qualifications

• Previous food-service experience is preferred.
• A friendly, positive, and composed attitude.
• Reliability, accountability, and a strong work ethic.
• Eagerness to learn, accept feedback, and take on new challenges.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to stand and bend for extended periods, work near heat, and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must successfully pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take orders, and deliver excellent customer service
• Prepare sandwiches, burgers, wraps, salads, and other menu items
• Cook and prepare food safely, efficiently, and consistently
• Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and service areas
• Learn to operate grills and other kitchen equipment safely
• Follow established food-safety guidelines and procedures
• Replenish ingredients and supplies as needed
• Support inventory tasks
• Collaborate with coworkers and contribute to a positive team environment
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Represent Thanksgiving Point’s mission and values through confidence, compassion, and curiosity
