ABC Fine Wine & Spirits in Winter Park, FL seeks a friendly Retail Team Member to greet guests, provide engaging service, and support store sales. You will operate the POS, verify IDs for age-restricted items, and help merchandise and stock shelves to maintain an inviting shopping environment.

Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required. Training is provided; safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction are priorities.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate the POS accurately and handle transactions.
• Reliable and friendly demeanor with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests upon entry and provide prompt, friendly service throughout their visit.
• Operate the POS system and process transactions, discounts, and rewards with accuracy.
• Verify customer identification for age-restricted products and ensure legal compliance.
• Assist with merchandising, restocking, and presenting products in shelves and displays.
• Receive, unload, and validate invoices; stock store deliveries and maintain organization.
• Keep the store and stockroom clean, safe, and well maintained; assist with restrooms and common areas.
• Wrap gifts, create simple gift baskets, and offer carryout service when needed.
• Participate in required training and stay informed about policies and products.

Join Our Team!Retail Team Members create a welcoming, fun, and educational experience for our Guests by delivering exceptional Guest service, contributing to store sales goals, and ensuring the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked.Responsibilities:Greet each Guest upon entry and provide prompt, friendly, and engaging service throughout their visit.Operate Point-of-Sale (POS) system accurately, including processing transactions, applying discounts or promotions, verifying rewards accounts, validating product selections, ensuring legal compliance with age verification, and following proper cash handling procedures.Maintain Responsible Vendor status throughout employment for alcohol & tobacco purchases while operating POS, wine taps or tasting tables by checking proper forms of identification for age verification.Learn and promote ABC’s wide selection of wine, spirits, beer, and cigars, including our Sourced & Certified products.Assist with merchandising, restocking, and visual presentation of product on shelves and within beer coolers. Increase sales and product performance to meet store goals.Receive, unload, and validate invoices, organize and stock store deliveries.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the store, including the sales floor, stockroom, Team Member areas (e.g., lockers and kitchen), and customer-facing spaces such as restrooms.Assist with daily property upkeep by sweeping and removing debris inside the store and in exteriorareas such as parking lots and walkways, collecting shopping carts, emptying trash, and performing routine restroom cleaning.Provide wrapping service for ABC products, assemble custom gift baskets, and offer carryout service when needed.Stay current on required training, company policies, and product knowledge to ensure compliance and provide an informed, high-quality Guest experience.Perform additional duties as assigned by Store Leadership.Minimum Qualifications:Must be 21 years of age or older.The ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs demand.No prior retail experience required, though previous customer-facing experience is a plus.General Requirements:Maintain regular and predictable onsite attendance: All Team Members are expected to report to work as scheduled and remain onsite for the duration of their shifts.
