Job summary

Jimmy John's is hiring for a team member to join our fast-paced sandwich shop. You will help deliver an exceptional customer experience, greet customers warmly, and support daily store operations including cash handling and basic food prep when needed.

Ideal candidates enjoy working in a energetic environment, are willing to learn, and can lift up to 40 lbs and work in cool temperatures in storage areas. Training is provided to get you started.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service and store experience.
• Greet and thank customers with a smile and eye contact.
• Assist with day-to-day store operations and cleanliness.
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions per policies.
• Assist in food preparation when applicable and within age policy.
• Support team to maintain a fast, accurate service flow.

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to lift 15-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop through-out assigned shift
• Ability to be mobile in walk-in refrigerator and freezer with temperatures ranging from 40° F to -10° F

Essential Functions include

• Responsibility for customer product and service standards

• Executing quality store operations
• Cleaning store, small wares, merchandise, and equipment as needed
• Must be able to operate food preparation machinery if over 18

• Must be able to operate cash register and handle cash transactions while adhering to all cash handling policies
