Job summary

Potbelly Sandwich Shop in Fort Collins, CO is hiring a friendly Team Member for a part-time role across day/evening shifts. The position offers pay transparency: $17.25 to $17.75 per hour plus digital tips, with opportunities to develop restaurant skills in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

You will work multiple stations, maintain health standards, restock, prep, handle cash, and assist with catering and delivery orders.

Qualifications

• At least 16 years old.
• Friendly, customer-first mindset in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable in a bustling kitchen; knife skills a plus.
• Able to manage allergens (peanuts, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood, shellfish).
• Team player.
• Able to stand/walk a minimum of 3 hours or as needed.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Illinois applicants – must become food safety certified within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Work multiple stations (load, dressing, shakes, cash, prep, front) as directed by a Shift Leader or Manager.
• Comply with health and safety standards for food, cleanliness and safety.
• Restock food line, chips and cooler.
• Prepare quality finished products (sandwiches, salads, soups, cookies, ice cream, etc.).
• If 18 or older, use of the automatic slicer to prep items.
• Clean tables, counters, floors, bathrooms, kitchen and utensils; take out trash.
• Operate cash register: handle, balance and follow all cash handling procedures.
• Effectively handle customer complaints/issues.
• Take delivery/catering/pickup orders over the phone.
• Other duties as assigned.

• You are at least 16 years of age
