Job summary

MAD Greens is seeking a Team Member to join our fast-paced cafe environment. You will greet guests, take orders, handle cash, and uphold safety policies while contributing to a fun, respectful team culture.

This role emphasizes delivering great hospitality, working with fresh ingredients daily, and collaborating to set up and break down shifts. Excellent guest service, reliability, and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome.
• Take guests’ food orders and handle cash and credit transactions.
• Follow operational policies and procedures including cash handling and safety.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items.
• Make the availability of fresh ingredients possible daily.
• Cut and store vegetables and fruits properly.
• Rotate food items in storage and discard expired items.
• Sort and store food for cooking needs.
• Serve food to guests in a courteous and timely manner.
• Prepare food items quickly and accurately.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints effectively.
• Work as a team to prepare the restaurant for each shift.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcome
• Take guests’ food orders and handle cash and credit transactions
• Follow MAD Greens operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety/security to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items
• Make the availability of fresh ingredients possible on a daily basis.
• Cut, slice vegetables and fruits and store them properly.
• Rotate food items in cold storage and trash any expired items.
• Sort, chop, and store food items that need to be used for cooking purposes
• Serve food to guests in a courteous and timely manner
• Quickly and accurately prepare food items.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant and ensures proper set up and/or breakdown of the entire restaurant including dining room, restrooms, kitchen and prep areas
• Effectively handle guest concerns and complaints
• Work as a team to prepare the restaurant for each shift
• Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture of Snappy Salads
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Contributes to a positive team environment
