Panera Bread in Merrillville, IN is seeking a Team Manager to lead great shifts, support development, and uphold our high standards for guest experience. You will partner with the leadership team to ensure smooth operations, train teammates, and foster a welcoming environment.

This role requires 1+ years of restaurant management, ServSafe or willingness to certify, flexible hours, and a focus on coaching, speed, accuracy, and service.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead shifts in a fast-paced environment.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
• Background check required for offers.
• Physical: lift up to 25 pounds; stand/walk up to 6 hours; clear communication in loud environments.

Responsibilities

• Delight guests with quality food, service, and staff.
• Lead, manage and develop team members; coach, inspire and motivate to exceed goals in sales, speed, order accuracy, and guest experience.
• Participate in interviewing and selection.
