Job summary

Panera Bread is seeking a Team Manager to join our bakery-cafe leadership team, overseeing shifts, staff development, and guest satisfaction. You’ll lead with coaching, motivation, and accountability to meet goals in service, speed, and accuracy while upholding Panera’s high standards.

You’ll drive a people-centric culture that values warmth, belonging, growth, and trust, while coordinating interviewing, training, and day-to-day operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age: 18 years.
• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead great shifts while directing, motivating, coaching and developing others in a fast-paced environment.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve certification).

Responsibilities

• Make sure every guest is delighted by the quality of our food, service, and staff.
• Build engaging relationships that lead to long-term, loyal guests.
• Lead, coach and develop team members to exceed goals in sales, speed and guest experience, and celebrate achievements.
• Participate in interviewing and selection.
• Train the team in food safety standards and ensure they are maintained.
