Job summary

Panera Bread in Michigan is seeking a Team Manager to lead daily bakery-cafe operations and develop a high-performing team. You will ensure guests receive warm, efficient service and top-quality food while upholding Panera’s standards and culture.

As a Team Manager you’ll coach and motivate staff, participate in recruitment and training, and help drive sales and guest satisfaction during fast-paced shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• 1+ years of restaurant management experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to lead shifts in a fast-paced environment; coach and develop others.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Background check required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests are delighted by food, service, and staff.
• Build relationships to foster repeat guests.
• Lead, manage and develop team members through coaching and motivation to exceed goals.
• Participate in interviewing and selection processes.
• Train team in food safety standards and maintain them.

As a Team Manager, you’ll be part of the bakery-cafe’s leadership team, helping to run great shifts, support team development, and maintain the high standards our guests expect.
