Panera Bread in Council Bluffs is seeking a Team Manager to lead shift operations, support staff development, and uphold Panera’s high standards for food quality and guest experience. You will oversee daily operations, coach and empower associates, and ensure smooth service during busy periods.

The role emphasizes hiring and training, maintaining safety standards, and fostering a warm, inclusive culture. Flexible hours including nights and weekends are common, with competitive pay and benefits

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• 1+ years of restaurant management experience.
• Proven ability to lead great shifts in fast-paced environments.
• ServSafe certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Background check required.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk up to 6 hours.
• Be an ambassador of Panera's Guiding Values and Behaviors.

As a Team Manager, you’ll be part of the bakery-cafe’s leadership team, helping to run great shifts, support team development, and maintain the high standards our guests expect.

• ServSafe certification (or ability to achieve certification).
• This role requires flexible hours including nights and weekends in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

• While performing this job, the Team Manager role is regularly required to:
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects 25 pounds.
  • Capability to stand and walk for up to 6 hours.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate and quickly understand guests and associates’ directions in a loud environment.
