Position Summary

The purpose of this position is to work at the plant-side level and be responsible for the day-to-day activities related to Shipping and Receiving functions. This position has the responsibility to train and mentor hourly staff. The Team Leader disseminates information from management to associates. This role ensures that all incoming materials are received, verified, and staged efficiently to meet production demands and maintain inventory accuracy. Team Lead- Receiving requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Description Of Duties And Responsibilities

Lead Warehouse Operations (on off shifts) for proper inventory levels and FIFO using receiving experience and ERP system knowledge.

Communicate receiving issues to Supervisor. Support counting returnable containers. Research discrepancies in the receiving department with Supervisor (referencing 3-way match PO, Receipt & Invoice).

20%

Work with cross functional team members (for example, Shipping 2nd & 3rd shift) to support associate concerns and business transactions. Support improvement plans to countermeasure problems or concerns.
