Job summary

Lamb Weston in Twin Falls, ID, is looking for a Team Leader Production to drive safety, food safety, quality and production goals while guiding a high‑performing shift. You will identify bottlenecks, allocate resources, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, cost and customer service, building an engaged, results‑oriented team.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or 3 years related experience, willingness to work weekends and various shifts, and proficiency with MS

  • Empower production staff to meet production and quality goals.

Job Description Summary

Leads production staff to attain safety, food safety, quality and production goals. Leads team to identify, manage and execute the plant’s process improvement opportunities. Manages and identifies problems or bottlenecks in production processes and resolves issues. Ensures production resources, including materials, equipment and human resources are available as needed to maintain production schedules. Supports continuous improvement goals in safety, quality, cost and customer service. Responsible for managing and owning various functions of the business and creating an engaged and team‑oriented work force to improve business results.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three years related experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of manufacturing software; MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role is listed below.

Pay Rate or Range: $71,410.00 - $107,110.00
