Job summary

CNRG in Cary, NC is seeking a Part-Time Team Leader to supervise daily operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will lead associates, assist with merchandising, inventory, and safety, and help achieve store goals. Open availability, including weekends, is required, with 12–30 hours per week and potential for increases.

Retail or leadership experience is preferred, but we will train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service and help customers find solutions for their projects
• Lead and support associates during daily store operations
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sales floor
• Assist with merchandising, displays, and product stocking
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and restocking
• Train and encourage team members on customer service and store expectations
• Help ensure store safety standards are followed
• Assist with opening, closing, and manager-on-duty responsibilities as needed
• Communicate promotions and operational updates to associates
• Work as part of a team to achieve store sales and goals

Do you enjoy leading a team, helping customers, and staying busy in a fast-paced environment? Our Part-Time Team Leaders play an important role in keeping the store running smoothly while delivering outstanding customer service and supporting daily operations.

We are looking for dependable, motivated individuals who have open availability, can work at least 12 hours per week (with the opportunity for up to 30 hours), and are available to work weekends. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys leadership, teamwork, and hands-on work in a retail setting.

Retail or leadership experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

What You’ll Do

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout the workday
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Climb ladders and stock overhead merchandise
• Bend, kneel, twist, and handle large or awkward items safely
