KI, a world-class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Plastics Technician to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 3rd shift. A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.

Job Duties

Responsibilities include hang hooks & parts on the paint line, manually applying powder paint, performing color changeovers, taping parts, inspecting & packing parts, recording bad parts, maintaining proper pH levels and thicknesses, monitoring paint shelf life, and re-certifying as necessary.

Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent Job Experience
Value Added Skills
  • Hang hooks & parts on the Paint line following priorities
  • Manually apply powder paint
  • Perform paint color changeovers
  • Tape parts to prevent scratches
  • Inspect & pack parts, assemble as needed
  • Record defective parts
  • Maintain proper pH and thickness levels
  • Monitor paint shelf life and re-certify as needed
Physical Requirements
  • Work in warm areas
  • Work in a smoke-free environment
  • Activities include standing, walking, lifting, twisting, bending
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Assist in any plant area if needed
  • Use of respirator required
Shift Details
  • 3rd Shift: 10 pm Sunday to 6 am Friday
  • Overtime during busy seasons
