Job summary

Stratosphere Quality is seeking a Quality Team Leader for the night shift to supervise inspection teams at various customer sites throughout East Tennessee, including Maryville. The role requires travel to plants and warehouses and adherence to safety and quality procedures.

You will lead teams on the night shift (6:00 PM–7:00 AM), train inspectors, and coordinate with customers while maintaining strict quality standards across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Leadership or team lead experience preferred; training provided.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to work nights, 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• Willingness to travel to East Tennessee job sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise quality inspection teams.
• Set up projects and manage team expectations.
• Train inspectors on work instructions and procedures.
• Inspect parts and ensure quality standards are met.

Pay: $19.27 per hour

Shift: Night shift, 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM (2nd/3rd shift coverage)

Travel: Yes, travel to local manufacturing plants and warehouses is required

About The Role

Stratosphere Quality is hiring two Quality Team Leaders in East Tennessee. You will lead inspection teams at customer sites on our night shift, 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This role involves regular travel to manufacturing plants and warehouses across the region, so you need to be comfortable working at different locations and adjusting to different environments.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and supervise quality inspection teams
• Set up projects and manage team expectations
• Train inspectors on work instructions and procedures
• Inspect parts and make sure quality standards are met
• Communicate with customers and job site contacts
• Make sure safety and company requirements are followed
• Verify tools, equipment, and gauges
• Complete project paperwork and reporting
• Step in as acting supervisor when needed
• Travel to manufacturing plants and warehouses between Maryville and Crossville
