Job summary

Philip Morris International (PMI) is seeking a Team Leader, Manufacturing Quality to provide direct supervision of the manufacturing quality team, ensuring quality standards, compliance requirements, and quality principles are consistently applied across operations.

In this role you will oversee sampling plans, document reviews, calibration of at-line instruments, and CAPA investigations, while developing procedures and training staff to uphold PMI's smoke-free manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced consumer goods or regulated manufacturing environment.
• 1+ year of direct leadership experience, or 2+ years leading projects or teams indirectly.
• Knowledge of quality testing equipment, maintenance, and calibration.
• Experience with quality tools, root cause analysis, and statistical methods.
• Fluent in English.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with PMI policies, legal requirements, and Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability standards.
• Supervise and support manufacturing quality team members, including staffing and performance-related activities.
• Coordinate sample availability and testing activities according to established sampling plans and control strategies.
• Review controlled documents, including logbooks and production batch records.
• Maintain and troubleshoot at-line quality instruments, including calibration verification and documentation.
• Lead investigations of nonconformances, consumer complaints, and quality issues; implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Manage quality holds to prevent nonconforming materials or products from entering production.
• Develop, review, and maintain procedures, work instructions, and quality documentation.
• Train employees on quality processes and new methods.
• Support quality engineering initiatives, validations, verifications, and manufacturing trials.

Compensation

Annual Base Salary: $88,000 - $110,000
