Johnsonville, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a 2nd shift, directing skilled technicians and coordinating preventive maintenance across production and utility equipment.

You will implement reliability initiatives, mentor staff, and collaborate with engineers to improve equipment performance at our Kansas facility. Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in industrial maintenance, proven leadership, and experience with SAP and Viziya.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Food industry experience is a plus.
• Technical leadership experience preferred.
• Certificates or training in Maintenance Management and Reliability preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead and coach a team of maintenance technicians.
• Ensure planned maintenance schedules and responsibilities are completed using SAP and Viziya.
• Engage in root cause analysis and implement proactive solutions.
• Develop relationships with internal customers.
• Set work priorities and provide direction to team members.
• Identify skill gaps and develop members to meet needs.
• Create an atmosphere of innovation and problem-solving within the Maintenance Team.
• Build team chemistry and participation.
• Drive the improvement of equipment and team members.
• Be an agent of change to increase performance and results.
• Work with members to develop and maintain their career goals.
• Track and analyze team performance metrics to drive improvement.
• Deliver accurate and on time coaching and timekeeping practices.
• Research parts needed for work/repairs and properly utilize Parts Inventory and Work Order systems.
• Act as a point of contact for the facility maintenance during your assigned shift operations.
• All other duties as assigned.

Members of our maintenance team keep our machines, lines and facilities running. You and your teammates will be responsible for all production and industrial refrigeration equipment, as well as our electrical controls systems. You’ll also work closely with our engineers and production members to make important upgrades to our production machinery, as we innovate and grow the business.

Position Overview

Leadand assist withImplementing Johnsonville's Reliability Excellence Program

Initiate preventative maintenance strategies, Coordinate maintenance Repairs and Troubleshoot all plant and some utility equipment

Assist in developing a World Class Maintenance Department

Ensure effective communication between all maintenance shifts relative to scheduling, work projects, and other necessary information

Facilitate the successful resolution of recurrent problems through team participation

Coordinate all 2ndShift Maintenance activities and ensure completion or all required work

Along with Maintenance Coordinator, participate in resolving team member issues

Lead the training and development of all 2ndShift Maintenance

Lead and maintain continuous improvement efforts as they relate to equipment and process

Education

Technical Diploma in Industrial Maintenance Technology or other technical discipline (Experience and knowledge will be considered for internal candidates)

Associates/Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline a plus

Experience

At least 4 years of industrial maintenance experience (food industry experience a plus)

Technical team leadership experience is preferred

Certificates or training in Maintenance Management and Reliability preferred

Skills

Demonstrated electrical and mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills

Leadership experience is required

Commitment to personal growth and a proven ability to coach and mentor others to higher levels of responsibility and skills

Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Strong decision making and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks at a time

Highly motivated self-starter with the drive to achieve results

Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP (or equivalent CMMS software), and Viziya (or equivalent maintenance scheduling software)
