SUMMARY:

Serves as the primary resource for team members. Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing operations by coaching, instructing, and coordinating activities within the team to achieve desired metrics. Trains new employees in quality, safety, and environmental procedures, and provides performance feedback.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead team members in areas such as plating, polishing, assembly, coating, or other production zones.
  • Coordinate activities and assign tasks to team members.
  • Implement scheduling for team members.
  • Maintain documentation related to time and production.
  • Facilitate communication among team members through meetings and ongoing updates.
  • Coordinate training, including on-the-job training and other necessary development activities.
  • Participate in performance management and provide feedback during reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to quality procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.
  • Promote safety and environmental compliance, encouraging team participation.
  • Drive productivity initiatives such as Lean or BCI.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of new team members.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
  • Enforce company policies and practices.
  • Manage all relevant paperwork for the area.
  • Ensure proper disposal of waste, including recyclables, hazardous waste, etc.
  • Potentially handle hazardous chemicals and ensure safety protocols.
  • Perform other tasks aligned with Lincoln Industries' values and drivers.
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE:

Reports to: Manager or Department Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma or GED required. Must obtain Team Leader Certification within 30 days of assignment. Ability to interpret instructions, define problems, and analyze data is essential.

Category B – Medium Labor Intensive
Physical activities include: occasional to frequent walking, stooping, bending, sitting, typing, reaching, standing, climbing, carrying, lifting, twisting, turning, pinching, gripping, vibration, squatting, pushing, pulling, static work, working at various levels, and working with hazardous conditions.
