Job summary

Tri-State Decorating Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a motivated Construction Laborer to join our team. You will assist with a variety of commercial construction tasks, learn on the job, and support skilled trades as directed by the supervisor.

Duties include demo, sheetrock, spackle, painting, ceilings, and basic concrete work; operate power tools; keep the site tidy and OSHA-compliant. Teamwork, reliability, and a proactive attitude are essential. This is year-round work with weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction-related roles a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and willingness to work alone at times.
• Proficiency in using power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction tasks as directed by the supervisor.
• Demo and installation tasks: sheetrock, spackle, painting, suspended ceilings, concrete work (trainable).
• Operate power tools and maintain a clean, safe jobsite per OSHA regulations.
