Position: Team Leader

The Team Leader is responsible for the safe and efficient operations and/or maintenance of a designated area. Responsibilities include providing leadership, coaching, and performance evaluation of team members. The role involves managing budgets to optimize performance, cost, and reliability, and developing safety compliance documents such as JSAs.

Basic Qualifications

• Degreed candidates: 3+ years of progressive experience in power plant operations in technical and supervisory roles.
• Non-degreed candidates: 5+ years of similar experience.
• Experience in team management and participation.
• Proficiency with CMMS, Excel, Word, Access.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical maintenance personnel, focusing on Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS).
• Manage environmental regulatory planning related to emissions, including RATA, SBS compliance, H2SO4, and Particulate Matter testing.
• Ensure compliance with CFR 40 Part 60 and Part 75 regulations.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, develop solutions for reliability problems.
• Oversee contractor work for electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Recommend upgrades to improve operations and performance.
• Collaborate with the Resource Planning Team on maintenance programs.
• Develop scopes for contract work and oversee contractor activities.
• Support a 24/7 operation and foster a learning environment.
