Job summary

Stratosphere Quality is seeking a Quality Team Leader in Hayward, CA to lead quality inspection teams, set up projects, train inspectors, and ensure product quality. The role involves communicating with customers, ensuring safety, verifying tools, and completing project documentation.

Occasional travel to sites may be required, with OT as requested by the supplier. You will need leadership experience, strong communication, adaptability, and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and precise in work.
• Willingness to travel to manufacturing plants and warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise quality inspection teams.
• Set up projects and manage team expectations.
• Train inspectors on work instructions and procedures.
• Inspect parts and ensure quality standards are met.
• Communicate with customers and job site contacts.
• Ensure safety and company requirements are followed.
• Verify tools, equipment, and gauges.
• Complete project paperwork and reporting.
• Step in as acting supervisor when needed.
• Travel to manufacturing plants and warehouses.
