Job summary

The Ideal Tridon Group is seeking Team Leaders for 1st Shift at our Auburn Hills, MI Plant. The Team Lead will supervise production team members, provide guidance, and act as the daily contact for the team.

This role emphasizes proactive communication, goal-driven leadership, and fostering a safe, efficient work environment. Responsibilities include overseeing daily production activities, coaching team members, ensuring quality standards, tracking KPIs, and coordinating with the shift supervisor

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a production facility.
• Minimum two years of Team Lead experience, leading teams, or groups of people.
• Minimum 2 years of production experience.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated ability to direct and guide team members.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily activities of a production team in an assigned department area to ensure that volume, cost, waste, and quality standards are achieved.
• Validate or coordinate the work of others.
• Fill in for absences or when lines are down.
• Ensure processes are being followed.
• Perform quality checks and ensure quality of responsible areas.
• Gather and input data, equipment recovery and repair.
• Communicate with team members and supervisors.
• Train team members, delegate tasks and set deadlines.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, monitor team performance and report on KPI’s.
• Motivate team members and discover training needs.
• Provide coaching, resolve conflicts and recognize high performance, department safety, understand line or departmental schedules.

We are seeking Team Leaders for 1st Shift forour Auburn Hills, MI Plant.

Summary

The Team Lead will manage our team members and provide effective guidance. Team Leads are responsible for supervising, managing and motivating team members daily and as such are the contact point for all team members. Effective communication is key to this role and the ability to act proactively ensuring smooth team operations and effective collaboration. Ultimately, Team Leads should manage by setting a good example and engaging the team to achieve goals. This role has no authority for staff actions and reports to the shift supervisor.
