Job summary

RESRG Automotive in Portageville, MO is seeking a Team Leader - Maintenance Technician to supervise maintenance activities and guide technicians. You will troubleshoot and repair plant equipment, coordinate PMs, and source parts with suppliers while upholding safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and hands-on maintenance experience, with skills in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and basic plumbing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of mechanics (Basic Electricity, Basic Mechanics, Basic Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Basic Welding and Basic Plumbing).
• Ability to troubleshoot Electrical circuits (DC volts, 110 volt to 480 volt).
• Basic knowledge of Hand Tools / Power Tools.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklift, chain hoist, bridge crane (Forklift Certified).
• Ability to perform Maintenance tasks with flexibility in position.
• Must have Maintenance Mechanic experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and lead maintenance team efforts.
• Troubleshoot and repair plant machinery to reduce downtime.
• Organize and complete Work Orders on time.
• Be the technical expert for the department; liaise with equipment suppliers.
• Perform preventative maintenance projects as assigned.
• Follow safety rules including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Demonstrate excellent attendance and willingness to work overtime and any shift.

Team Leader - Maintenance Technician

RESRG Automotive has an opening for a Team Lead - Maintenance Technician at our Portageville, MO facility.

Job Summary

We are seeking a strong individual with the right virtue and talent to join our team. A Team Leader in Maintenance provides technical support for the team members and assist in Troubleshooting and Repair all machinery in the plant.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for PM Quality and Completing PM’s on time
• Responsible for organizing and completing Work Orders on time
• Responsible for organizing parts for PM’ and Project Work
• Responsible to be the technical expert for the department and point of contact with equipment suppliers
• Provide technical solutions to problems in order to decrease downtime
• Work with limited direction or supervision
• Adheres to all safety requirements including lockout / tagout procedures
• Performs work as a team member to assist in the completion of assigned tasks
• Performs work on multiple heights / levels
• Regularly perform preventative maintenance projects and assignments
• Comply with all safety rules, company rules and guidelines
• Demonstrate excellent attendance
• Must be willing to work overtime and willing to work on any shift as required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or walk on concrete floor for 8+ hours and lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Requires hand, arm back, and leg strength; also, bending and squatting ability
• Must have eye, foot, and hand coordination, and be able to do repetitive grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine motor manipulation
• Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures and perform work indoors/outdoors as needed
