Job summary

The Institute for Community Living Inc. (ICL) seeks a Team Leader, Integrated Services to provide clinical and administrative leadership to a multidisciplinary team across clinic, community, school, and residential settings.

Lead staff performance, ensure trauma-informed, person-centered care, and coordinate with families, schools, and providers while maintaining a small caseload and crisis support responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience providing mental health services to children and families.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience with adolescents/young adults with serious mental illness.
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, child/adolescent development and family systems.
  • Experience in community-based mental health services required.
  • Experience with school-based mental health services, CFTSS, or CCBHC preferred.
  • Licensed in NY as LCSW or LMHC is required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Work location at 2581 Atlantic Ave, Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical and administrative supervision to interdisciplinary staff, including clinicians, peer advocates, and fee-for-service personnel.
  • Facilitate team meetings, case consultations, and clinical reviews.
  • Support staff onboarding, training, mentoring, performance management, and professional development.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee delivery of behavioral health services, including individual, group, school-based, crisis, and community-based interventions.
  • Ensure services are evidence-based, recovery-oriented, person-centered, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed.
  • Monitor caseload management, service utilization, engagement outcomes, and documentation compliance.
  • Promote family engagement and strengths-based interventions.
  • Ensure compliance with OMH, federal, state, payer, and program requirements.
  • Monitor performance indicators, assessments, treatment plans, crisis services, and follow-up activities.
  • Participate in audits, chart reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Identify operational and clinical barriers and implement strategies to improve outcomes and efficiency.
  • Manage daily team workflows, staffing coverage, and productivity expectations.
  • Track and report utilization, outcomes, and program performance metrics.
  • Partner with leadership to implement new initiatives, expand services, and improve operations.
  • Serve as a liaison among schools, families, healthcare providers, psychiatric staff, and community organizations.
  • Support smooth care transitions and coordinated service delivery through warm handoffs and referral follow-up.
  • Maintain a small direct service caseload as needed.
  • Participate in an after-hours crisis rotation to support urgent client needs.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Experience:

Compensation

Salary: $95,000.00 annually

About the Role:

The Team Leader, Integrated Services provides clinical and administrative leadership to a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, care coordinators, peer advocates, and support staff. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, person-centered, trauma-informed services across clinic, community, school, and residential settings. The Team Leader oversees staff performance, program compliance, quality improvement efforts, operational workflows, and stakeholder collaboration while maintaining a small clinical caseload and participating in after-hours crisis support.

Primary Responsibilities
