Caterpillar in Denison, TX is seeking a Team Leader to guide daily production, coach staff, and drive safety, quality, and efficiency improvements on the line. You will monitor metrics, support problem solving, and champion continuous improvement initiatives across shifts.

The role requires strong leadership, teamwork, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment. The position is full-time with comprehensive benefits and a 1st shift schedule.

• Respond quickly to production issues, Andon calls, and operational challenges.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure PPE and safety standards compliance.
• Train employees and support development of team skills and capabilities.
• Monitor key performance metrics for Safety, Quality, Velocity, Cost, and People.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and root-cause corrective actions.
• Maintain performance boards, production metrics, and CPS tools.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members throughout the shift.

• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with PPE and workplace safety standards.
• Train employees and support the development of team skills and capabilities.
• Monitor and communicate key performance metrics related to Safety, Quality, Velocity, Cost, and People.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support root cause corrective actions.
• Maintain and update performance boards, production metrics, and CPS tools.
• Support and audit standardized work and 5S workplace organization practices.
• Partner with leadership to communicate staffing, quality, production, and safety concerns.
• Serve as a role model for Caterpillar's Values in Action and foster a positive team environment.
• Provide support across departments and cover for other Team Leaders when needed.
• Work overtime as required to meet production demands.

What We're Looking For

• Working knowledge of the Caterpillar Production System (CPS)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Caterpillar policies, procedures, and manufacturing operations.
• Previous experience in a production, assembly, or manufacturing leadership role.

Additional Information

1st Shift (7:00 am to 3:30 pm)

Full-Time position with benefits

Pay range is $21.24-$32.84
