Job summary

Eliot Community Human Services, Inc. in Massachusetts seeks an experienced Team Leader to supervise a multidisciplinary ACCS team delivering person-centered interventions to adults with severe mental illness in residential or community settings.

The role requires leadership, a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling, licensure progress, and a commitment to culturally competent care. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with a salary range of $100,000–$110,000 USD.

Qualifications

• Masters in Mental Health Counseling or related field.
• Experience with adults with mental illness.
• Licensure or ability to obtain licensure within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all administrative and clinical functions of the team and team members.
• Monitor overall delivery of services and utilization of support for clients.
• Coordinate case management services including income management, insurance, and scheduling medical and psychiatric appointments.
• Ensure culturally competent, strengths-based services reflecting individual preferences.
• Promote independence and strength-based interventions to aid goal attainment.
• Integrate recovery services, vocational support, and clinical care into treatment plans.
• Facilitate and oversee clinical assessments including risk and crisis management; provide direct interventions and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide on-call backup clinical support to case management staff on a rotating schedule.

Eliot is seeking an experienced and strong Team Leader to supervise a multidisciplinary ACCS (Adult Community Clinical Services) team. Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) provides clinically focused evidenced based interventions to adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Services are person centered and are delivered by a multidisciplinary team of professionals in either residential or community based settings. The Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring that recovery services, vocational services, and clinical support are incorporated into the treatment plans for each individual client. The ideal candidate will bring leadership experience as well as a background in community-based work with adults with persistent mental illness.

Qualifications:

• Requires a Masters’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or related field
• Experience working with adults with mental illness
• Licensure or commitment to obtain licensure within the required timeframe of the licensing body
