Manufacturing Department at Beacon Engineered Solutions

Position: Manufacturing Beacon Engineered Solutions - MN Full Time

The Team Leader is responsible for supporting team personnel, leading in alignment with Beacon's Vision and Values, ensuring a safe, fair, and learning environment. The primary responsibilities support our Company Mission: “To deliver exceptional services, engineered solutions, and quality products on time.”

Essential Functions

1. Support all operator training needs.
2. Provide input on team member performance to Supervisor.
3. Administer Beacon’s policies consistently and completely.
4. Attend all scheduled shift meetings and huddles.
5. Maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
6. Assist operators, CMO’s, and Supervisors with troubleshooting process problems.
7. Follow all safety guidelines and report concerns.
8. Assist during break periods and perform tasks assigned by your Supervisor.
9. Capable of filling in as a Supervisor when needed.
10. Communicate relevant information about press or molded parts to the next Team Leader.
11. Support meeting production schedules and promote the 5-S program.
12. Enter production data into the system, including scrap and downtime reasons.
13. Review quality rejects with Supervisor and ensure proper recording of data.
14. Complete SPC, Attribute Charts, and Audits with 100% accuracy.
15. Uphold Beacon’s Corporate Values: Accountability, Integrity, Innovation, Service, and Teamwork.

Required Skills

• Ability to lift at least 45 lbs.
• Good mechanical ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Certification as a Molding Operator.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with measuring tools.
• Prior manufacturing experience.
• Self-motivated team player.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience as a Certified Molding Operator.

Pay with Overnight Shift Differential: $21.75/hr to $23.00/hr
