American Express Global Business Travel (Amex GBT) is seeking a Team Leader to join the U.S. Military and Government team in the United States. You will supervise travel consultants, coach staff, and use data to drive service excellence for federal clients.

Hours are 24x7, with potential late evenings or overnight shifts and some weekends/holidays. The role emphasizes leadership, performance feedback, scheduling, and Sabre GDS expertise to issue tickets and manage queues.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a travel consultant.
• 4+ years working in a customer service environment.
• Sabre GDS experience required.
• Experience issuing tickets and working Sabre queues preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Expert knowledge of customer service satisfaction requirements.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to motivate others.
• Creative, open-minded and willingness to adapt.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• Desirable: Experience in Defense & Government, CMS, Avaya and Power Advantage

• Hours of operation are 24 x 7 x 365. Please be prepared to work late evening or overnight shifts, as well as some weekends and holidays

CWT accepts Military experience/certifications as a substitute for some requirements.

The US national base salary range for this position is from $55,300 - $102,700 Annually.

The national range provided includes the base salary that the company expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
