Shipping Supervisor

Your Role and Responsibilities

• Model and support a culture of accountability, adhering to all job expectations and company policies.
• Share observations with your Supervisor to enhance team capability.
• Develop and reinforce ABB Values in Action within your team.
• Follow all environmental and safety regulations.
• Meet customer order requirements promptly.
• Record product, packaging, and order information accurately.
• Utilize equipment to track, monitor, and verify products for distribution.
• Communicate effectively with other teams about ongoing jobs.
• Apply problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to resolve issues.
• Recommend improvements, training, and tools to enhance team performance.
• Engage team members in understanding work environment, training, and troubleshooting.
• Provide input on team strengths and areas for improvement.
• Foster teamwork across departments.
• Plan and organize work efficiently.
• Exemplify a high work ethic and promote operational discipline.
• Overtime may be required.

Qualifications for the Role

• High school diploma or GED.

• Understanding of lean/continuous improvement principles.
• Skilled in using hand tools like pallets jacks and banders.
• Experience working in manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, or logistics.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and SAP.
• At least two years of relevant experience.
• Work authorization to work in the US for ABB.
