Job summary

McLane is seeking a Team Leader to guide our warehouse floor operations. You will verify quantities, manage product flow, and lead staff to ensure productivity and accuracy.

The role includes supervising daily activities, coordinating labor, and handling power equipment tasks. A High School Diploma or GED is preferred, with 1+ year of warehouse experience and basic computer skills. Benefits start after a period and holidays are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Basic computer skills are needed.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to perform tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Verify and record quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product; research out-of-stocks and replenishment issues.
• Select, pull, sort, and stack product using power equipment or by hand.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Coordinate warehouse labor (e.g., start of shift, vacation, and sick calls).
• This position has additional duties; special projects may be assigned.

The Team Leader promotes and maintains warehouse productivity and efficiencies by working as a direct floor leader.
