Job summary

CN Guidance & Counseling Services, Inc. is seeking a Team Leader to oversee Alternatives to Incarceration and Re-Entry Services. You will supervise staff, conduct team meetings, manage referrals, and ensure program fidelity while maintaining high-quality care.

Qualified candidates hold licensure in social work or related mental health fields, with 3–5 years post-licensure experience and at least 1 year of supervision; strong data and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active mental health license in the applicable field.
• Minimum 3–5 years post-licensure experience with mental health or co-occurring disorders.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Strong communication and data literacy; ability to present records per program standards.

Job description

JOB DEFINITION:

The Team Leader of the Alternatives to Incarceration and Re-Entry Services and Interventions provides administrative, clinical and operational oversight to the team. The Team Leader provides supervision to the staff, conducts team meetings, manages relationships with the referral sources and promotes model fidelity.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Licensed Clinical/Masters Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, or Licensed Creative Arts Therapist

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years post licensure experience working with individuals who have mental health, or co-occurring mental health and substance use
• At least 1 year of supervisory
• Ability to make data- driven
• Ability to coordinate Excellent organizational and time management skills required.
• Working knowledge of computer software and electronic health record
• Demonstrated competency in written, verbal and computational skills to present and document records in accordance with program standards.
• Exceptional public speaking and presentation
• Demonstrated competency in development and implementation of the interdisciplinary planning process.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Provide supervision to all staff
2. Complete assessments within the community
3. Conduct weekly team meetings

6. Reviews entire caseloads
7. Oversees and manages staff productivity and staff wellness
8. Monitors quality of documentation
9. Assists in covering caseloads when needed
10. Complete all required training and monitors staffs compliance with training
11. Oversee and manage all aspects of service delivery to ensure quality of care and compliance with all agency and governmental policies and standards.

1. Participate in recruitment, hiring, training and ongoing evaluation of staff under supervision from the Senior Director.
2. Create, maintain and review staff schedules as needed
3. Participate in data informed, outcome driven, planning and execution of new program
4. Support the use of data in clinical supervision to inform decision‑making
5. Identify and implement quality improvement trainings and activities as part of professional development goals
