Job summary

Goodwill is seeking a Team Leader to assist the management team with day-to-day operations of a retail store/outlet. You will direct staff, mentor new employees, and help achieve production and quality goals while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

This role requires 6 months of management experience, provides an opportunity for internal candidates, and involves local travel; external hiring range starts at $16.00 per hour; schedule may vary and include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in management, supervising, or leading groups.
• Internal Candidates will be considered with 6 months at Goodwill.
• Candidates must provide current, valid Child Abuse Clearance.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Start your career in management and join the retail management team! As a Team Leader at Goodwill, you will assist management with the daily operations of a retail store/ outlet. The Team Leader will direct staff to ensure the retail store/outlet operates efficiently. This position will mentor new employees, teaching them skills to succeed in a career in retail. Duties will also include but are not limited to:

• Assist the management team with the responsibilities of the day-to-day operations of a retail store/ outlet.
• Provide leadership and direction to staff, program participants, donors, and customers, while ensuring that production and quality goals and standards are achieved.
• Maintain and promote a clean and safe work environment.

External Hiring Range: $16.00

Schedule: Will vary, must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Travel: Local travel may will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6 months of experience in management, supervising, or leading groups required.
• Internal Candidates will be considered with - 6 months of experience working at Goodwill required.
