Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is looking for a Team Leader to manage warehouse productivity and efficiency in Missouri. In this role, you will supervise warehouse staff, coordinate labor, and ensure the correct handling of products.

The ideal candidate has distribution experience, strong leadership skills, and must be at least 18 years old. Generous benefits, including medical and paid time off, are provided starting from day 60 of employment.

Team Leader

Promotes and maintains warehouse productivity and efficiencies by working as a direct floor leader.

What you'll do as a Team Leader

• Verify and record quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product; research out-of-stocks, shortages, and replenishment issues.
• Select, pull, sort, and stack product using power equipment or by hand.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Coordinate warehouse labor (e.g., start of shift, vacation, and sick calls).
• Perform additional duties; special projects may be assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
• Supervisory experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
