Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Team Leader for our Warehouse DC San Antonio. The role focuses on maintaining productivity and efficiency on the floor through direct leadership of the team and by coordinating daily warehouse activities.

You will verify stock, operate or supervise power equipment, and ensure accurate labeling and packing. The position includes shift coordination, safety adherence, and possible special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
• Supervisory experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a work level.

Responsibilities

• Verify and record quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product; research out-of-stocks, shortages, and replenishment issues.
• Select, pull, sort, and stack product using power equipment or by hand.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders.
• Coordinate warehouse labor (e.g., start of shift, vacation, and sick calls).
• This position has additional duties; special projects may be assigned.

What You’ll Do As a Team Leader

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of distribution warehouse experience, including operation of reach truck, pallet jack, and forklift.
• Supervisory experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
