Job summary

Chick-fil-A is seeking a Team Leader to support daily operations, coach team members, and uphold our hospitality culture in a fast-paced restaurant. This full-time role focuses on task completion to run the restaurant smoothly, staff training, and leading shifts with accountability.

You will model outstanding hospitality, ensure safety and quality, and help drive brand growth while maintaining a positive work environment. Sundays are closed; competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Works under the influence of each Director in the business (Talent, Guest Experience, Sales & Brand Growth, Financial Stewardship).
• Participates in day-to-day high-volume restaurant operations.
• Enhances the guest experience by showing care to guests and team.
• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely and efficiently to Chick-fil-A standards.
• Represent Chick-fil-A as a brand ambassador and embody its purpose, mission, values and culture daily.
• Assist in training of the team, set the shift tone, and act as a role model.

Our leadership team is responsible for supporting each other in executing daily operations and keeping team members accountable for each component of key focus areas for operational excellence. A leader’s two main areas of focus are completing tasks so that the restaurant runs effectively, and coaching/developing team members. Leaders lead by example and set the tone that others will follow. Each Team Leader will have an additional role/responsibility and a group of team members to support them. For example, their area may be safety, facilities, training, inventory, sales and brand growth, or a financial.

Leader Responsibilities:

• Works under the influence of each Director in the business (Talent, Guest Experience, Sales & Brand Growth, Financial Stewardship)
• Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant, including using all systems and checklist provided
• Enhance the guest's experience by showing care to our guests and team
• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly, and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Represent Chick-fil-A as a brand ambassador by embracing and demonstrating our purpose, mission, values and culture at the highest level everyday
• Assist in training of the team, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team
• Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder
• Count drawers or record inventory loss
• Monitor Labor and Food Costs daily
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
• Manage Team Member behavioral and performance issues
• Able to preform all Team Member positions in the business (Delivery, Hospitality/Drive Thru, Kitchen, and Trainer roles)

• Prior experience as shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, restaurant assistant manager is not required but is preferred.
