1- General Professional Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in international development project management, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience in the financial and operational management of contracts valued at over 2 million euros and lasting more than 2 years.
• Previous experience in technical assistance projects.
• Previous experience in EU-funded projects would be an asset.

2- Context Knowledge

Extensive knowledge of the Angolan economic and political environment, as well as regional and international trade and investment dynamics.

3- Management Skills

Strong strategic planning, resource management, problem-solving, communication and negotiation skills.

4- Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Management, International Trade, International Relations, Marketing or related fields. Master’s in the same areas would be an asset.

5- Languages

Fluent in Portuguese (minimum C1) and English (minimum C1), oral and written.

6- Specific Professional Experience

• Experience in development project management in the areas of trade, investment (including investment facilitation and business climate reforms), private sector development or economic development would be an asset.
• Experience in high-level interaction and in facilitating dialogue and coordination with relevant ministries and public services in developing countries, preferably in Angola, will be a great advantage.
