Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fulfill SEARCH’s mission and core values while modeling superior client service and professionalism.
  • Provide direct case management for a reduced caseload and support the broader team in service delivery.
  • Deliver individual coaching and feedback to team members on outreach, screening, eligibility, enrollment, planning, documentation, and discharge activities.
  • Lead regular client staffing meetings to ensure alignment, address challenges, and develop improvements.
  • Meet consistently with individual staff and work teams to ensure continuity of care and grant compliance.
  • Supervise case management staff, conduct performance evaluations, and offer ongoing guidance.
  • Use HMIS to generate timely and accurate programmatic and statistical reports; ensure timely data entry by staff.
  • Assist with continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities, client satisfaction surveys, and reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with community service providers to ensure clients receive necessary support.
  • Contribute innovative, strategic ideas in collaboration with the Integrated Care Team and external partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Education and Experience Requirements

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Master’s degree in clinical social work or counseling (required).
  • Licensure: LCSW or LPC preferred; supervision certification for LMSWs ideal.
  • 2–5 years of supervisory experience in a social service setting.
  • Prior experience as a case manager highly preferred.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license with a 3-year safe driving record.
  • Specialized knowledge of issues affecting individuals experiencing homelessness, serious mental illness, or substance use disorders.
  • Skills: Applied knowledge of Motivational Interviewing, Stages of Change, CBT, and other evidence-based practices.
  • Experience providing case management or counseling to individuals experiencing homelessness, serious mental illness, or substance use disorders is ideal.
  • Language: Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
