Job summary

Do Good Multnomah seeks a Team Lead Supervisor to guide program staff and oversee operations of the GPD program at scattered sites. You will mentor staff, coordinate scheduling, and ensure service delivery aligned with Housing First and trauma-informed practices.

You will work with Veterans in a housing-focused setting, supervise performance evaluations, and support staff through onboarding and ongoing training. This role emphasizes collaboration and equity.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience working in homeless services, supportive housing, behavioral health, social services, Veteran services, or another closely related human-services setting.
  • Experience providing leadership, coaching, training, shift coordination, or supervision to employees, volunteers, peers, or multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience supporting people experiencing homelessness, housing instability, behavioral health needs, substance use, or other significant barriers to housing stability.
  • Familiarity with Veteran and military culture and the unique barriers Veterans may experience when accessing housing and supportive services.
  • Working knowledge of Housing First, trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and strengths-based approaches, or the ability to demonstrate comparable knowledge gained through relevant professional, volunteer, educational, or lived experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to conflict, crisis situations, or emotionally escalated interactions.
  • Basic proficiency with workplace technology and the ability to learn systems used for documentation, scheduling, timekeeping, communication, and program administration.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with organizational, funder, and regulatory requirements related to participant information.
  • Current Oregon Food Handler's Card or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to successfully complete position-related pre-employment requirements.

  • Provide regular individual supervision to assigned direct reports, including coaching, feedback, professional development, and performance support.
  • Partner with the Program Manager to complete performance evaluations and address performance, training, or development needs.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing training for new and existing staff, including modeling effective participant engagement, documentation, communication, and program practices.
  • Provide clear direction, appropriately delegate responsibilities, and support staff in problem-solving and making sound decisions within the scope of their roles.
  • Serve as the onsite leadership point person and assume designated program management responsibilities when the Program Manager is unavailable.
  • Foster a team culture grounded in collaboration, accountability, respect, psychological safety, and trauma-informed practices.
  • Collaborate across programs and departments to support continuity of services and effective program operations.
  • Participate in hiring activities, including candidate interviews and selection processes, as assigned.

Title: Team Lead SupervisorWage: $63,026 AnnuallyShift: Wednesday-Saturday, 7:00am-6:00pmClassification: Exempt, Full-Time, Not Union RepresentedLocation: GPD (Scattered Sites)Reports To: Program ManagerThis position has an introductory probationary period of 90 days.THE POSITION: The Team Lead Supervisor (TLS) will be a creative and dynamic leader who will assist the Program Manager with overseeing program staff and managing the overall operations of GPD program. The TLS will serve as the point person onsite when the Program Manager is unavailable. Duties will include assisting the Program Manager with overall site operations and staffing, performing supervisions, managing scheduling, and other related leadership tasks. This position will mentor their direct reports with kindness, compassion, equity, and trauma-informed care. The TLS will be responsible for ensuring that the mission of Do Good Multnomah is appropriately executed, and daily operational functions are appropriately carried out by program staff. The Grant Per Diem Team Lead Supervisor will assist staff in supporting houseless Veterans accessing temporary and permanent supportive housing. The TLS will work closely with Participants and staff to create and implement individualized service plans, and support them in their self-motivated goal of attaining sustainable permanent housing. This position will play a crucial role in the success of the GPD transitional housing program, ensuring that Veterans receive the support and resources that they need to thrive. This position will be a part of a small program team along with Housing Case Mangers and Peer Support Specialists that engage participants in improving their overall health and well-being using strengths-based, housing first, and harm reductive models.HIPAA REQUIREMENTS: This position will have access to Protected Health Information (PHI) during their work activities. While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, and hear.The role may involve lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds, navigating indoor and outdoor spaces, and performing routine and repetitive tasks.
