Job Description

The Opportunity:

The Team Lead, Sterile Processing Complex Care supports trauma, transplant, neuro surgery, and cardiovascular surgery service lines. Within the organizational structure of the sterile processing area, serves as the team leader. Manages the instruments and processing of instruments within Surgical Services and CVOR, with expanded service to the entire hospital and SLPS. Manages daily workflow and schedule of the sterile processing team. Serves as a mentor and coach to team members. Other duties may be assigned as required.

Position Details:

Shift: Evening hours - primarily Mon-Fri (15:30-23:00). Hours may vary.

• Required weekend call shifts (one weekend every 6th week - entire weekend, 48 hours) - in-person response might be needed.
• Supervising SPD for the assigned shift.
• Experience: 2 years of applicable experience preferred.
• Requirements: 2 years of experience preferred; Certified Registered Central Service Tech. - International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management preferred.
