Must be at least 18 years old.Possess genuine concern for and ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities and mental illness.Ability to communicate with empathy and establish and maintain supportive relationships which promote freedom and choice.Excellent organizational, communication, computer, analytical and problem-solving skills. Self-directed and resourceful.
Travel:
Daily travel to and from appointments, activities, and errands may be required in a company vehicle.
Essential Job Functions - Physical Requirements:
Ability to meet physical demands of the job including stooping, bending, turning, stretching, lifting, assisting residents, making beds, and moving equipment.Must accept risk of working in a group setting where employees are exposed to communicable diseases and occasional combativeness. Ability to work in an environment that generates ongoing noise from individual(s), audio devices, equipment, etc.Onsite work required. Required to work variable hours/ shifts, must be willing and available to work every other weekend or as scheduled.
