Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead for our Browns Summit manufacturing shop in North Carolina. The role focuses on supervising component fabrication, setting up equipment, and ensuring safety and quality on the floor.

You will interpret blueprints, guide team members, and coordinate with maintenance to keep production on schedule while delivering precise modular wall components.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in equipment setup, blueprint reading, architectural walls, and working in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in fabrication and assembly.
• Ability to read technical drawings and translate them into shop floor actions.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced setting.

As a member of our component team, you will play a crucial role in producing and assembling key modular mechanical components that meet our quality standards. This position requires expertise in bolting equipment, reading blueprints, and installing panels, ductwork, and architectural walls.**Benefits:*** Weekly Pay* Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance* 401(k) with generous company match* Free Basic Life Insurance* Short & Long-Term Disability**Schedule:**6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary**Location: Rural Hall****Responsibilities:*** Prepare and set up machinery and equipment for manufacturing processes* Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition and meets safety standards* Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machinery as needed* Interpret and understand technical blueprints, drawings, and specifications* Use blueprints as a guide for component fabrication and assembly* Communicate any discrepancies or issues with blueprints to the team lead* Assemble and install architectural wall systems according to project requirements* Ensure precise measurements and alignment of wall components* Collaborate with team members to create visually appealing and functional wall structures**Qualifications:*** Proven experience in equipment setup, blueprint reading, architectural walls, and working in a manufacturing or construction environment* Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and preferably welding equipment* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work* Ability to work effectively in a team and follow safety protocols* Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to the manufacturing and construction industry* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements**Education Requirements:*** High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus**Job Requirements/Special Skills:*** Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs* Ability to step over and work on top of fixtures that are 28 inches off the floor when necessary* Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
