Job summary

Allied Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to administer prescribed treatments, coordinate nursing care, and monitor standards on an assigned unit for residents from adult to geriatric ages.

The RN must hold a Pennsylvania nursing license (or be eligible) and maintain CPR certification, with at least one year of geriatric experience preferred; required PA State Police and FBI clearances will be completed as part of employment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Minimum of one (1) year of satisfactory experience in geriatric setting preferred.
• Clearances required: PA State Police criminal history check and PA Department of Aging FBI fingerprint clearance (if applicable).
• Possession of a current license as a Registered Nurse issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners required OR eligible for such licensure.
• CPR Certification required or must be obtained and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Administers medically prescribed treatment and monitors the performance of nursing care on the assigned unit.
• Coordinates nursing care and ensures standards of nursing care are met.
• Assess residents across the adult to geriatric age range and implement care plans per Nursing Department policies and procedures.
• Demonstrates good verbal and written communication with staff, residents, and visitors.
