Overview

The Respiratory Therapist Team Leader is responsible for the clinical and technical leadership of the Respiratory Care staff. The Team Leader will ensure effective daily operation over their area of responsibility. Responsibilities include administering respiratory care under a physician's order, such as oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, intubation, arterial puncture and analysis, and mechanical ventilation for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. The Team Leader plans, implements, and evaluates therapy effectiveness and manages equipment rentals. They understand organizational needs and support the mission, values, and management of patient care services.

Licensure

Registered Respiratory Therapist and NC Respiratory Care Practitioner required.

Education
