The Team Lead-RN works in a charge nurse capacity providing leadership, clinical expertise and functional direction to team members in order to ensure the continuity of patient services. Provides shift coordination across departments and within the nursing division to ensure appropriate staffing mix and adherence to quality standards. Responsible for completing assigned projects, leading quality and education initiatives and orienting new colleagues.

Position Specifics:

Department: Med Surg and ICU

Schedule: Primarily Evening Shift; 3p-11p, Monday through Friday, weekends off

Facility: SAE

Location: Effingham, IL

Other: We are seeking a dynamic RN to support both Med-Surg and ICU units in a dual clinical and teaching role. Primary responsibilities include working alongside nursing staff on the floors, supporting onboarding, orientation, charge duties, and chart reviews. This role will be cross-trained as a house supervisor and inpatient RN, providing frontline coverage during high census, staff shortages, or other needs. The position will also provide leadership coverage in the absence of inpatient leaders.

Compensation: Based on experience, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends

Education Qualifications

• Associates degree or Diploma in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• 3 years nursing experience is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice is required. Wisconsin: RNs may practice with a valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) using the Emergency Cardiopulmonary Care through Resuscitation Quality Improvement QI completed within 30 days of hire is required.

Pay Range:
